the pacifist or peace-loving 

faith-affirming

person who affirms forgiveness

despite the wrongs, the slings and arrows

and the one who lurks, arm

at the ready, with the quick 

posture of attack

blietzkrieg

we are done here

and there is the woman who observes 

who writes the poems good or bad

the lines of comment on the body

of the man who died of cold

out in the street

tomorrow all of these 

may be again but one

and all these lines and thoughts and vain

meanderings

may be blotted out
